Bio-fuel is generated from converting natural sugars in plants into ethanol which is pure alcohol (in Australia most Bio-fuel is produced from sugar cane and is known as methylated spirits) It is a 100% renewable energy source. No flue is required for Ozflame bio-fuel fire places as the product of combustion is water vapour and a small quantity of C02. However make sure there is oxygen when using the fire by allowing a small opening in a window or door. Bio-fuel is an effective heating source and your Ozflame fire place will produce up to 3.5 KW of heat per hour depending on model and flame setting, this is sufficient to heat a 35 square metre room. Average fuel consumption is half a litre per hour and less if the flame setting is adjusted down. Fuel consumption will increase when the fire is used outdoors or in draftee locations.
